Hey, Iâm Zawad (He/him)
If youâre reading this, it means youâve already shown incredible insight in recognizing how important self-care is, and have taken an enormous step towards your own wellness.
Western models of healing affected by colonialism have painted many helping professions as the experts, and those being served as the students. I take a different approach. Having had experience with marginalized populations like people of colour, those with neurodivergency, and new immigrants, I believe I can learn something from each and every client that I see and use this knowledge to tailor each session towards the map that you want to explore. From issues such as managing stress or anxiety, to finding work-life balance, I am here to listen, to be the keeper of stories, and to showcase how you already have all the tools you need for a meaningful life.
Letâs do a thought experiment; have you ever been on a guided tour? Maybe at a museum, or on vacation at a historical site? Perhaps the experience was educational, challenged some beliefs that you held, or was just plain enjoyable, where jaw-dropping landmarks were navigated easily and awe-inspiring history was witnessed seamlessly.
Therapy is guidance through what is the most interesting landscape imaginable; our own lives. As your therapist, I hope to work alongside, rather than in front, empowering you to dictate the pace of our journey, taking our time with areas that need more exploration and quickly passing by those that require less attention. Over time, you may begin to see some landmarks differently, and I will be there every step of the way to help create a new reality that you deem the most beautiful.

As a Guyanese immigrant now calling Canada home, I intimately understand the complexities of navigating life in a new country. Having walked the path of managing anxiety and depression, I appreciate that each journey is unique. Throughout our lives we experience many emotions. When things get hard it can be scary and stressful, especially when you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Sometimes, we forget parts of ourselves or find it hard to make time to prioritize whatâs important to us, which can lead to feelings of isolation. But just because it feels like this does not mean you need to go through these struggles alone. Therapy provides a space for everyone to feel heard and validated and provides support so you donât feel like youâre going through things alone.
As the eldest child of first-generation immigrants from Macedonia, I can relate to the difficulties of trying to fit into two different cultures and the pressures and expectations that others can place on you. My personal experiences with culture make me value each individualâs uniqueness and how lived experiences impact everyone differently.
I believe that the foundation of therapy starts with a person-centered approach, where building a trusting and comfortable relationship with your therapist is essential so you feel safe with them. Establishing a partnership is important because you are the expert in your life, and your input is valued. I am simply here to guide you when you need assistance. I use a holistic approach where I take concepts from different evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to create a tailored approach that will best suit you.
Diving deeper into your emotions and thoughts can be intimidating, but I will be with you through every step. Together, we can build on your strengths and equip you with the tools you need to battle any situation.

Hello, Iâm Julia. You have done all that you possibly can to âget better,â and resume your normal life, but it seems that nothing will budge. Youâre stuck trying to work through old habits and patterns that just donât seem to go away. Iâve been in your shoes, and I understand the difficulty of acknowledging that you have done your best, but may benefit from the support of a professional. It is daunting, nerve-wracking, and sometimes, shameful, and requires bravery and strength to move past the fear of opening up to others. If you have done all of the personal healing and feel like there is no end in sight, Iâm here to help.
As a former therapy client, stemming from my own struggles with anxiety and depression, I understand and acknowledge the difficulty of seeking help, and from that, I strive to provide empathetic, compassionate, and respectful therapeutic support for individuals of all diversifications.
Due to the wonderful therapeutic support that I have received in my life, my goal is to provide the same level of support and care to my own clients. I embrace techniques from a multitude of theoretical orientations, including Acceptance & Commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused therapy (EFT), and Person-Centred therapy (PCT), to provide an integrative approach to healing and wellness.
With a positive outlook, a commitment to try, (and a bit of humour!), I am confident that together we will be able to help you get back to âyou!â

Wonderful to meet you! Hereâs a little something about how I approach therapy.
Life is a beautiful journey filled with positives and joys, but it also comes with its share of challenges and setbacks. Remember that youâre not alone if youâre struggling with stress, feelings of inadequacy, worthlessness, self-doubt, or uncertainty. Therapy is a collaborative journey where we navigate lifeâs ups and downs together.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you deserve a space to express your thoughts and feelings freely. Iâm here to help create that space for you. In this comfortable, non-judgmental environment, you can share your experiences without fearing your struggles being diminished or dismissed. Instead, youâll find understanding, compassion, and unwavering support. Together, weâll set meaningful goals and explore solutions to your challenges, encouraging new perspectives and approaches. You will receive steadfast support as we discuss and explore ways to handle these challenges effectively, working through them side by side. I am committed to understanding your unique story and supporting you in leading a life aligned with your values and beliefs. Your well-being is my priority.
I firmly believe in the power of empathy and active listening. I will not judge you for your lifeâs experiences. We are all human, and everyone is capable of both strengths and mistakes. My goal is to offer understanding and support, acknowledging that, as a human, I, too, am capable of similar experiences and feelings. This space allows you to feel accepted and supported, free from judgment.

You are not alone if you are experiencing feelings of overwhelm, disconnection, or a loss of identity, so you do not need to face these challenges alone. Whether youâre dealing with the stress of pregnancy or the postpartum period, working through hormonal shifts in your life, dealing with anxiety or depression, or resolving relational issues, I want to support your journey. I have a strong background in biology so, using a holistic approach that is tailored for you, together we can work in a safe and nurturing environment.
You may be someone who has a lot on your plate such as responsibilities, feelings, and expectations, and you need a place to put everything down, even for a little while. Perhaps youâre accustomed to taking care of other people, but now itâs time to take care of yourself. In therapy, you can observe and receive compassionate, judgment-free support for your feelings, struggles, and experiences. Therapy is a partnership where your voice matters, your experiences are honoured, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.
My strategy is based on empathy, inquiry, and teamwork drawing from different therapeutic modalities so therapy is customized to every individual. Growth, in my opinion, occurs when you feel secure enough to be who you are, flaws and all. Weâll work together to understand whatâs happening underneath the surface and look into ways to improve your lifeâs ease, clarity, and connection.
You donât have to know everything before you begin. Bring yourself just the way you are. There, Iâll meet you.

Sometimes life feels like standing in a dark old house, familiar yet strange. You might sense thereâs more behind the walls, more to understand about why you feel stuck, lost, or unsure. Together, we can explore that space. You decide where we go, which rooms to enter, which windows to open, and Iâll bring the flashlight and the keys for the doors that feel too heavy to face alone.
If youâre feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, grief, or self-doubt, you donât have to stay in that place by yourself. Therapy is where you can pause, slow things down, explore the unknown, and begin to see things differently. You might be a young person balancing expectations, or someone older navigating change and uncertainty, wanting to understand yourself on a deeper level. Wherever you are in life, you deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood.
Our work together is a therapeutic conversation: curious, compassionate, and sometimes even with a hint of humour. Youâll have space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours while also discovering new ways to move through life with clarity and confidence. I believe the unconscious mind is always speaking, often in symbols and sensations, and that it begins to shift when we turn our attention toward it with respect and care.
If youâre ready to wander the old house of your inner world, to bring light to the places that have been closed off or overlooked, Iâd be honoured to walk with you. Thereâs more to you than the pain youâre currently carrying, and together, we can begin to find whatâs been waiting behind those doors.

Hey, Iâm Bryn.
If youâre feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or past traumas, know that youâre not alone. Many individuals and families face these challenges daily, and seeking support is a courageous step toward healing. Navigating relationships, whether with a partner, family member, or within yourself, can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. You might be searching for ways to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, or simply find harmony in your interactions. These are common struggles, and addressing them can lead to profound personal growth.
Iâve always been a natural listener, drawn to understanding peopleâs stories and uncovering the resilience that exists within themâoften even before they recognize it themselves. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression, and has worked for years with neurodiverse individuals, I recognize that everyoneâs journey is unique and complex. Your experiences, challenges, and strengths are valid, and embracing them can be empowering.
In our sessions, youâll find a safe and supportive space where your voice is heard and valued. Together, we can explore your feelings, identify patterns, and develop strategies tailored to your needs. The goal is to equip you with tools that foster resilience, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Taking the first step toward therapy can be daunting, but itâs also a testament to your strength and commitment to well-being. If youâre ready to embark on this journey, Iâm here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support every step of the way.

Hey, Iâm Gwyneth. When we feel supported to share our stories truly remarkable things can happen. Therapy can provide the time and space to explore who you are, how your story began, and where youâd like it to go. It offers connection and perspective as you navigate your internal and external world. My practice emphasizes respect, warmth, and integrity at the heart of this collaborative process.
There are innumerable reasons why we consider therapy, and each one is valid and worthy of care. Feelings of depression or anxiety, challenging relationships, reduced self-worth, difficult decisions at work, home, or school, or major life transitions can all tax our abilities to cope. Whatever is on your mind, it will be met with empathetic, non-judgemental listening and an individualized plan that centres your wellness goals. Together weâll decide which approaches, tools, and techniques best honour your unique experiences and perspectives. My therapeutic style is authentic and engaged, and draws upon evidence-based practices for solid, integrative support. Using a client-centred approach, weâll explore building resiliency, practicing awareness, and letting go of unhelpful patterns.
Finding the right therapist for you is important. A brief consultation can help you decide if weâre well suited to work together. I look forward to connecting, and answering any questions you might have.

Hi, Iâm Kay!
In a world that is fast-paced and often unpredictable, challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when our experiences are not advocated for or understood. This lack of recognition can deeply affect our sense of self, how we engage with the world around us, and the quality of our relationships with others. My goal as a therapist is to provide support as you navigate these challenges, affirm your identity, and build healthier connections both within yourself and with the people in your life.
As a queer therapist, I am deeply committed to fostering a non-judgmental, safe and inclusive therapeutic space. Through an intersectional, anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens, I approach therapy with the understanding that everyoneâs experience is shaped by multiple identities and systemic factors. My goal is to help you explore your unique journey, honour your experiences and values, uncover your strengths and empower you to thrive in your authentic self.
In our sessions together, I employ an attentive, compassionate, and reflective approach. I believe in actively listening to your narrative, meeting you where you are, and walking alongside you through moments of hardship, growth and success. I recognize the strength in vulnerability and hold space for you to explore difficult emotions at your own pace.
I specialize in working with youth and young adults navigating life transitions and relationships, neurodivergent folks seeking support in understanding themselves better, and LGBTQ+ individuals looking for a therapist who affirms their identity and experiences. Above all, I am committed to building a therapeutic relationship with you that is rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration.
As someone who has experienced their own mental health challenges, I know how daunting it can be to seek support; I commend you for taking the first step. If youâre ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, it would be a privilege to work with you.

Student Therapist Starting January 2026
Hi! Iâm Sierra (she/her),
I am so glad youâre here!
If youâre someone whoâs used to holding everything together, showing up for everyone, and pushing through even when youâre exhausted, youâre in the right place. You might look like you have it all together on the outside, but inside youâre tired, overwhelmed, and craving space to just breathe and be yourself.
You donât have to navigate burnout, self-doubt, or major life transitions alone. Therapy can be a place where you set down the pressure and explore who you are beneath all the expectations. A place where you can say the things youâve kept to yourself, slow down long enough to notice what you actually need, and reconnect with the parts of you that youâve had to put on hold.
In our work together, you can expect warmth, collaboration, and a space where youâre genuinely met and understood. Youâll find room to explore your patterns with curiosity, make sense of why you feel the way you do, and move toward insights that help you grow in a grounded, sustainable way.
I believe healing happens through connection, safety, and honest conversations. You deserve support that feels real, practical, and empowering; something you can carry into your day to day life and not just the therapy space.
If youâre ready for therapy to feel like a place where you can finally exhale, Iâd love to meet you.

Ayshen Tuncel
Hi, Iâm Ayshen, (She/her),
You may be here because something in your life feels heavy, tangled, or overdue for attention. Maybe youâve been carrying more than anyone realizes. You might be navigating mood swings that leave you exhausted, emotional patterns that feel impossible to interrupt, or waves of overwhelm that rise faster than you can steady yourself. Maybe youâve spent years appearing strong for everyone else while quietly wrestling with shame, loneliness, or feelings you donât fully understand. If your inner world has started touching your relationships, energy, or sense of self, you deserve a place that feels safer and lighter.
You can expect warmth, honesty, and a style that blends emotional depth with practical grounding. I pay close attention to the patterns beneath your reactions, including old roles, unspoken fears, and unmet needs, and I help you make sense of them with compassion rather than judgment. My approach is rooted in emotional exploration, narrative insight, and an integrated therapeutic style that helps you build psychological flexibility. Together, we work on learning how to sit with your feelings, honour your values, and choose actions that move you toward the life you want.
We begin by understanding what your emotions are trying to protect or express, especially when they show up as compulsive behaviours, fluctuations in mood, people-pleasing, or shutting down. Then we work on shifting the cycles that keep you stuck, building skills that bring steadiness, clarity, and space to breathe. Over time, the aim is for you to feel more aligned with yourself and less ruled by shame, urgency, or overwhelm.
If youâre longing for clarity, emotional grounding, or a steadier relationship with yourself, Iâm here to walk with you. You donât have to navigate any of this alone.

Hey, Iâm Katie! (she/her) If you have been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself lately, you are not alone. You might be someone who tries hard, cares deeply, and puts a lot of pressure on yourself to get things right. Maybe you feel responsible for the people around you, or you have learned to hold everything in until you finally have space to let it out. Therapy can be that space for you. You deserve a place where your feelings are not minimized and where your experiences are taken seriously. Here, you can talk openly about what has been weighing on you, whether it is stress, self-doubt, shifting relationships, or the exhaustion that comes from always being the strong one. You can explore the parts of yourself that you rarely show anyone. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be honest and curious about your own story. I value connection, trust, and genuine conversation. In our time together, the focus is on you, your voice, and what feels meaningful to you. You bring your lived experiences, and together we explore what you need in order to feel more grounded and supported. My goal is to offer a space that feels calm, warm, and steady. A place where you can sort through your thoughts, reconnect with your strengths, and learn to care for yourself with the same compassion you give to others. Bring yourself just as you are. I will meet you there, and together we will take it one step at a time.

Not currently accepting new clients I believe that every personâs journey is shaped by their unique experiences, and I understand that privilege can create divides and barriers. I recognize that not everyone starts life from the same place, and itâs important to acknowledge and honor the diversity of backgrounds and challenges we each face. My role is not to position myself as the solution, but to walk alongside you as you navigate lifeâs challenges, while also celebrating your victories. Together, we will explore what feels true to you, empowering you to move forward in a way that honours your unique path.
Having witnessed discrimination and hardship firsthand and growing up as a second-generation Filipina Canadian in a family dedicated to healthcare, Iâve always felt a deep calling to help others in meaningful ways. With ten years of experience as a nurse, and the past two years spent working in addictions and mental health, Iâve built a strong foundation in patient care and crisis management. This journey has allowed me to cultivate a deep empathy for both physical and emotional well-being. I draw strength from my experiences with discrimination and hardship, as they have deepened my understanding of lifeâs complexities.
As someone who has been a client in therapy for over a decade, I truly understand what itâs like to be on the other side of the therapeutic process. This perspective fuels my passion for mental health and drives my desire to combine my healthcare background with a compassionate approach to therapy.
